Since the program was printed we have added two attractions.
1. Monster truck rides will be happening throughout the day.
2. TEM FM (94.5) community radio will be broadcasting from
the Showground Friday 25th to Monday 28th.

Don’t forget to bring your whip to the show and try out your skills
in the local whip cracking competition.

We also have the pavilion competition again this year for children.
Collect a form from the secretary’s office, get the form stamped at the
agricultural pavilion, both sheep pavilions & the poultry pavilion, fill
in your details and return it to the Secretary’s office for a chance to win a prize.

Don’t forget –entries for pavilion exhibits close Wednesday23rd September 11am.
Each entry must be accompanied by an entry & signed indemnity form.
All exhibits must be at the pavilion no later than 11am Friday 25th September,
with the exception of Class U – Wool, which is to be at the pavilion by 9am 26th September.
Please refer to each class separately for rules of that sections, some may have restrictions or,
in the case of sheep & poultry, have health restrictions .

Come to Temora’s Own Arts and Craft Centre (old community centre) on Monday 21st,
Tuesday, 22nd and Wednesday 23rd September 2009, drop off your exhibits at that time.
Otherwise deliver them to the Pavilion Friday 25th , before 11am depending on class.
Please read all instructions carefully.

I welcome you all to the Show this year and hope everyone enjoys the fine array of competition and
entertainment we have planned. I sincerely hope for all our farmers that rain features prominently for
show week but allows Saturday to be a fine day. A big Thank you to all our sponsors this year.
The last few years have certainly been tough for Temora’s farmers and businesses but most have
continued to show their loyalty and community spirit by sponsoring and supporting the
123rd Temora show. Simply put, without sponsors there would be NO show. Also a big thank you
to you the public, your past and oncoming attendance and support has and will help make more
shows possible, hopefully bigger and better each year!

The horse fraternity makes a welcome return this year. This year the committee has aimed mainly
at providing family orientated entertainment and promoting district produce. We will have fine
examples of district produce proudly on display. A sample of wool from Krause’s world record
Golden Fleece bale will be available for viewing at the agricultural pavilion. I invite everyone to
participate on the day and pledge our support and recognition to our hard working farmers and
business houses that have battled throughout the drought. I also implore and strongly encourage
everyone in these hard economic times to loyally patronise the sponsoring businesses that
loyally support us.

Finally, I sincerely thank the small band of Temora show committee workers and show day helpers.
Without your untiring hard work and loyalty there would not be enough hours in the day.
